Alyssa Peterson
Alyssa Peterson is a second-year PhD student at University of Queensland and QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. Her studies combine virology and entomology and aims to produce long-lasting interventions for mosquito vectored viruses. Alyssa plans to transition to Public Health after her PhD, and due to these interests she has received a competitive American Australian Association Grant to develop a mosquito-specific virus intervention plan in Merida, Mexico.
